Fat Farmer, you’ve done it again. At present, this is our favourite place to eat in Palmy. Tonight we had a few new dishes, and a few we’d had before. The goats cheese continues to be outstanding. We’ve had both bao buns before, and tonight we reaffirmed that the pork is indeed better than the chicken.
The squid rings, ooh lah lah. It was salty, but not too salty. And talk about tender. The gnocchi was scrumptious. The Fee-Rex loves to order gnocchi then say that it’s gross - but not tonight! Pan fried to perfection, the pumpkin a perfect accompaniment, and the burnt butter sauce was extra. The chicken was the weakest link. It wasn’t bad, but when surrounded by these giants of deliciousness, it paled in comparison. The tarte tartin was ginormous and bloody nice. We were surprised by how large it was and took half home. We didn’t spring for the ice cream on the side, and this was a mistake. As always, the cocktails were also great.
Bookings still essential.
