Beef burger with onion rings and chips
Chicken espatada with bearnaise sauce, chips, and onion rings
This was still a good meal, and is still a 4, but the magic is starting to wear off here. The chicken was juicy and flavoursome, although there was one piece of gristle, and the burger was absolutely fantastic. The biggest issue was the onion rings, Little Savannah used to serve giant deep fried onion rings that they made themselves, imagine our disappointment when crumbed onion rings that looked they came from a bulk catering pack arrived at our table. They didn’t even have real onion inside. Do you know who serves onion rings like that? Burger King. We would have rather had no onion rings. In other bad news, the Fee-Rex was given chips after ordering roast potato on the side, and the béarnaise was unusually foamy. These are rookie mistakes, and when you are at the top, you have to keep performing, there’s no room to rest on your laurels. Bookings essential.
