While the food was average, the reason why you’d visit Counter Culture is for the board games. They have a great collection, and the staff were both knowledgeable and helpful. The curly fries were the short, crispy dregs of the packet, there were barely any big curlies at all. The burger was far too dry, perhaps they held the sauce back to help keep the board games clean. But if that’s your reasoning, serve something that doesn’t need sauce, like a quiche. Lastly, the ice chocolate was good, it had a big heckin scoop of ice cream which is exactly what we were hoping for. Bookings recommended.
