We ate dinner here in March 2026.
Fried cauliflower
Chicken bites
Nachos
Archie Bros is an arcade chain with bowling, mini putt and arcade games. Their menu is exactly what you’d expect - a variety of fried stuff, burgers and pizza, all a little bit overpriced. What you wouldn’t expect is the vessels for their cocktails. Our drinks came in an elephant and a rollerskate, and we were living for it. What we weren’t living for was the flavour - talk about sweet! One of them was literally topped with candyfloss, so perhaps the eye-blistering levels of sugar weren’t unexpected.
The food was so-so. We did appreciate the fried chicken, but the cauliflower, which was in the ‘nude’ style, was under-flavoured. The nacho chips were a large serve, but without a lot of substance. There was no mince (either vegetarian or meatatarian), instead just a bunch of salsa, cheese, bacon and lumps of avocado or sour cream. These were dotted about unevenly which was upsetting - either put it all in one place and we will dsitribute it ourselves, or dole it out diffusely. Don’t stockpile it in a few key strongholds and leave us to work it out, we’re deep into the elephant/rollerskate and can’t deal with that maths.
