Honestly, we wish we could rate it higher based on just the friendliness of the hostess. She was something else, we were just superbly looked after. And the meals came out fast too.

However what came out was only passable on the whole. The broth in the chicken curry was absolutely delicious, but the chicken was old and dry. The beef was practically offensive. It wasn’t brisket for a start, but was the oldest, cheapest beef in the city instead, with plenty of gristle. And unlike the chicken curry, the beef broth didn’t save that meal. Roti is often an easy win, but for some reason this roti was really dry, crispy almost, with insufficient lamination. And we somehow ordered two plates of the stuff. Oh well.
