Dirty Little Secret pumps on a Thursday for drag night bingo, but on a Tuesday at 8pm she was pretty deserted. Nevertheless the bar staff were friendly, but using our bingo winnings (first place, what’s up) via their app was a huge pain in the ass.
The cauliflower tacos were a rip off. $22 for two tacos, which were small and very basic. Cauliflower, some kind of sauce, and a ‘salsa’ that was just chopped up tomatoes. $11 worth, we think not. The chicken burger was better. While the bun was on the stale side, the chicken was crispy and flavourful, it held together well and the slaw, pickles and cheese were a lovely combination. The chips were pretty good, and we welcomed the accompanying aioli.
