Leuven is very Belgian, and they are taking their beer game seriously. This isn’t just some bar that’s serving Stella and calling it a day, there were literally dozens of different beers.

The meatballs were juicy and not too pungent or gamey, with a good tomato sauce. The fondue was very tasty, but absurdly stingy with the bread. It was annoying and confusing to run out of dipping materials one fifth of the way through the fondue. Thankfully we had a bowl of chips, which were thick cut and well suited to dipping. But you shouldn’t have to order an extra side to compensate for insufficient bread! And even with the chips Business Andy still ended up bringing down the tone of the establishment by finishing it off with a spoon.
