The decor at Coffee Plus + makes it look like a cross between a bar, a second hand furniture shop, and someone’s rumpus room. There is also a very sweet and very obese dog called Brie whom we liked very much. They didn’t make any of their food, they just heated it up for us. But that said, they had taken some care.

This was no casual microwave job, both the sausage roll and the pie were crisp indicating that they had been in some kind of oven. The churros were completely covered in cinnamon sugar, chocolate sauce, and caramel sauce, and while they were good, I mean come on, they were always going to be good, we’ve had better. The churros were the only thing that didn’t reheat well, unlike the pie and sausage roll, they really needed to be deep fried fresh.
