Wow, what an incredible fish dish. Everything went together perfectly, it was sweet and tangy, the freshness and varied textures of the slaw were a great accompaniment to the softness of the kumara cake. This is the best fish we’ve reviewed yet.
The lamb rack didn’t quite reach the heights of the fish, but was still good. The lamb itself was very nice, and the oxtail cigar was fantastic, but the rest was quite forgettable.
The cheesecake was a disappointment. The cherry was undetectable, the texture thick, and the ratio of base to cheesecake mix off kilter. There was a nice vanilla creme with it, but it came with a very confusing strawberry sauce drizzled over the top of it.
