We ate dinner here in September 2021.
Open Adana burger
Beef and lamb meze platter
Neither Business Andy nor the Fee-Rex had ever tried dolma before, and frankly we won’t be trying it again. Be warned, that rolled up seaweed/leaf looking thing on the meze platter might as well be a stick of dynamite. Keep it away from your mouth. That said, the rest of the meze platter was really tasty. Shout out to the homemade falafel. Likewise, the open Adana burger was pretty nice too. We didn’t know what Adana was before tonight, turns out it’s spicy lamb mince made into a square sausage and cooked on a skewer, and unlike dolma, we’ll probably try it again. Whoever was mixing the chili into the mince needs a good talking to though, as the level of heat was quite erratic, from pleasant one mouthful to where’s-the-fire-extinguisher the next. As is commonplace with Turkish meals, both meals were generously sized and reasonably priced
