To describe Cafe 40 in 3 S-words: sad, salty and stay away. The place is tired and could use a good clean. The macaroni cheese, while not the worst we’ve had (congratulations Bees Knees) was overly salty and too rich. The nachos were just another flavourless mince-heap atop the cheapest corn chips money could buy. The “smoothie” was clearly a milkshake that they had blended a banana into and drizzled some honey down the sides of the glass. You’re not fooling us, Cafe 40.
