Pompeii Pizza was a bit disappointing. The pizza bases had a store bought feel, even if they weren’t. And on the whole, the ingredients were a bit bland and low quality. The beef on the beef and béarnaise pizza was the worst offender, it was as chewy as an old tyre, but the rest of the pizza wasn’t much better. And it wouldn’t kill you to cut up your tomatoes, nobody wants a slice of tomato that covers half the pizza. The centaur pizza might as well have been just a beetroot and balsalmic pizza because that’s all you could actually taste. You could see the feta and you could feel the texture of the walnuts, but otherwise, they were undetectable.
