Vegetarian laksa

In many ways, Angkor is quite unremarkable. But it is remarkably popular, in fact, we’ve been turned away without a reservation more than once. The Singapore steak was very large, very sweet, and the large pieces of meat were mostly good quality with just a few chewy bits. The laksa was richly flavoured, and like the Singapore steak was a large meal. Speaking of large, the vegetables in the laksa were very large, and frankly it was a problem. Not only was no knife provided, but the cutting surface was a bowl of soup, even if a knife had been provided, it still would have been difficult. Don’t only partially cut up the vegetables into pieces that have to be bitten off a fork in several mouthfuls. Bookings essential.
