We ate dinner here in May 2021.
Malai kofta
Paneer makhani
Plain naan
Cheese & garlic naan
We’re just going to say it, one of these curries wasn’t a curry at all. The paneer makhani was clearly a can of tomato soup mixed with sugar and some leftover butter chicken sauce. It was very thin and the paneer was rubbery, dry, and highly cuboid; clearly store bought. It was at least cheap, but cheap food doesn’t have to suck. The malai kofta was a bit better, and they didn’t skimp on the koftas either. In addition to cooking some pretty questionable curries, Indian2nite also tried to hoodwink us in the naan department. Cheddar is a pretty flavourful variety of cheese, and if you replace it with something else, people are going to notice. Don’t bait us with cheddar cheese in the menu, then switch out the cheese in the naan with stringy and flavourless mozzarella. The nerve. The plain naan was as advertised at least, plain and serviceable.
