They say that in 2021, $25 won’t get you much for dinner. The person who said that has never been to The Empire; the value for money here is immense. The beef bao buns were tasty, although the beef was a little chewy. And the beef burger was similarly tasty, with a patty that was a bit on the dry side. The burger also fell apart spectacularly, and the Fee-Rex was covered in a sticky mixture of caramelised onion and tomato after just a few mouthfuls. It’s already been said, but needs to be said again, the value for money here is spectacular. This humungous and delicious meal was the same price as the miserable lunch we had at the Stage Door Cafe recently. How do they do it? What are their secrets?
